Head PGA Golf Professional/Director of Instruction
Mickey is the head P.G.A. golf professional and Director of Instruction at Keeton Park Golf Course. Over thirty years experience as a golf professional at public and private facilities. Golf Digest Magazine recognized Mickey as "One of Texas Best Golf Instructors" in 2000, 2003, & 2004. His experience includes teaching golf schools with Chuck Cook, (a top ten golf instructor), attendee at many Teaching seminars including Jim Hardy, One Plane Swing School and the PGA Teaching and Coaching Summit. An active member of the Professionals Golfers Association of American he has served in many capacities including President of the Northern Texas PGA Section in 1998-2000
Golf Instructor/Director of Women's & Junior Programs
Masters Degree in Biomechanics from Kansas State University. Desiree competed on the varsity K-State Women's Golf Team for four years. She was also a junior standout in New Mexico. Over 10 years of practical teaching experience. Desiree is the Director of the Women's Instruction Programs and Junior Programs at Keeton Park. Her experience includes the First Tee Programs, PGA First Swing program, the Core Golf Schools and many individual students of all abilities.
Golf Course Superintendent
John has 18 years experience working for the City of Dallas' Golf Courses. Tenison Park was his first course beginning in 1986 as part of the golf course maintenance staff. In 1991 he took the position of assistant golf course superintendent for six years. Cedar Crest was his next stop in 1997 until 1999. October of 1999 he was reassigned to Tenison Park Golf Course as superintendent for the renovation of Tenison Park West, now Tenison Highlands. In November of 2003 he moved to Keeton Park as golf course superintendent, replacing Walt Guldhal who retired.
John is a member of the Texas Turfgrass Association and the North Texas Golf Course Superintendent Association.
